My business card Gareth Jones is an Emerging Technology Specialist and Senior Inventor, based at IBM’s Hursley Park in the UK. He specialises in leading edge technologies, particularly Web and mobile software, with a keen interest in the social aspects of both. As a Senior Inventor Gareth encourages innovation through mentoring and regularly helps IP Law within IBM by evaluating ideas whilst also contributing to his own patent portfolio.
As well as writing here, Gareth also contributes photos to Flickr, bookmarks to del.icio.us and general ramblings to Twitter (to pick a few). He is very interested in British Sign Language and is currently studying for a level 3 certificate. Gareth lives in Winchester, UK with his fiancée Paula. A photo of me
